X-type for internship (5 months)

Hello everyone,

I got an internship in Tianjin confirmed and want to start as soon as possible. Right now only the visa keeps me from starting and I have a few questions about it and hope someone here could maybe answer them.

I found out that the easiest and maybe only option is to enroll in a language school for the 5 months of my internship and get a student (X2) type through the school.

Do you know if I would qualify for a X or X2 type?

My next question would be if anyone knows how many hours of classes are minimum required in order to get an invitation letter from the language school to apply for the x-type?

Another question is if I could maybe even apply for a visa without an invitation letter and only with the official course enrollment if I only need the small (X2) type. Also here, would there be a minimum hour of classes per week required in order to get the X2-type?

I have been in contact with several language schools and heard many different things. That's why I am posting my questions here and hope to hear many replies to find out what I need to consider:)

Thank you very much in advance!!!
Greetings from Germany,
Jana

Jana, as you will take the internship in China, you should get an F or Z type in principle. However, if you insisit on applying for the X type, you need to study there and do the internship on your parttime with the consent of the school. In this way, you may need to add an endorsement on your X type. As long as the school agrees to admit you, the mimimum number of classes you shoul attend is decided by the school itself. BTW, to apply for the X type, the admission letter is a must.
