Lost Passport in HK

Hi,

I am a Malaysian, recently just obtained a 5 months Hong Kong Internship Visa (starting Feb 2016) for my 5 months internship in a HK Hotel.

Unfortunately, my passport was stolen 2 days ago, will be getting a new one done on 28 December. My question is whether it will be very complicated for the HK Hotel to update/ re-apply my visa (as i am afraid they would just terminate my internship), if so what are the procedures?

Thank you

Dear, it is not that complicated. I don’t think they would terminate your internship.
After getting your new passport, go to the immigration department to re-apply the new entry permit immediately.
