Commuting between Cangqian to West Lake

I need to commute between Cangqian to the tourist area around West Lake to visit my son at his university campus. Is there a transport system available or do we rely on taxis only ?

May I know if you refer to Cangqian Campus of Hangzhou Normal University? Well, there is no direct public bus that operates between these two places. So you need to transfer.
Take bus no. 286 to Hejian Village Station and transfer to no.118 to Yuemiao Station. Then walk south around 300 yards to arrive at the scenic area. By taxi, it costs CNY40 or around.
