dali to kunming express bus service

Question

Can anyone tell me how punctual is the bus service for the above route.  If I would like to choose a very comfortable express bus for this journey, any specific bus operator name I should look for??  for 02 adults and 2 children (below 12) the total bus fare is it about RMB 400?? Is that equivalent to hire a car instead for DL - Kunming??

Well, generally speaking, the long-distance buses will depart on time. So don't worry.It's not necessary for you to know the bus operator name. You can easily find the pick-up place at the bus station. As I know, the ticket fare is CNY 137 per person. Children can buy the half-price ticket as long as the height is 3.9 to 4.9 feet. Children under 3.9 feet can enjoy the free tickets. If by hiring a private car, the fare is CNY800 or a little more for the single trip.  Or you can also choose to take the direct train. The schedules are 08:48, 10:16, 11:14, 11:50, 20:08, 21:23, 21:53, 23:33 and 23:59. The ticket fare of soft sleeper is CNY155.5 and hard sleeper is CNY105.5.
