tickets for mogao caves

Question

We are arriving in Dunhuang on Sept. 13 and planned to visit the caves on Sept. 14 and 16.  Have just read you need to book tickets ahead of time.  How can we do this as apparently the web site is in Chinese only.  Do you offer this service?  Can we ask our hotel to purchase tickets for us?  (It would be terrible if after travelling all the way from Canada to Dunhuang we were not able to see the caves!)  Look forward to your reply. Alan and Patricia Boyden

Yes, you are right about that. The best way for you is turning to your hotel staff who can help with the booking.

Except that hotel staff English throughout Dunhuang is woefully nonexistent. You definitely need to bring your smartphone translate app.
