About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

Travel to Taiwan with Temporary Resident Permit

Hi,

I will soon flight to Beijing with a visa of x1 type with one entry. I will then apply for Temporary Resident Permit. I planned to flight to Taiwan several times during my stay in China and thought it would be ok as I will hold a "resident" status, but someone told me it would be difficult for me to do that. Can someone clarify the situation ? Are we allowed to leave mainland China and then flight back, whatever the number of our entries on our X1 type? Many thanks

Yes, whatever the number of entries on the X1, you are able to exit and back with the temporary residence permit.
