S1 Visa Requirements

Hi, I got S1 type for my wife and it's valid for 30 days. Once we enter in china then we will apply for S2. can you please suggest that Round Trip Tickets are required for S1 visa and 30 days hotel booking is also necessary for the same

Barkha, why do you plan to change S1 into S2? In fact, you should change your S1 into a long-term resident permit which is valid for more than 180 days. In order to apply for S1, your wife needs your invitation letter, valid resident permit in China and your marriage certificate.

If you just want to have a trip, then you should apply for a L type instead of S1. Then round-trip ar tickets and hotel booking are required. To apply for S1, air ticket are not required.
