About:Chinese Consulate in Calgary

India visit from Beijing. I would like to know if there would be problems with entry to China.

My flight from Vancouver stops in Beijing before continuing to Mumbai. On the return flight I have a 10 day visit in PRC before taking the flight home to Vancouver. Can I spend the entire 20 days in PRC? That is, are there any problems getting a visa for the 20 days and just not using the Beijing to Mumbai air ticket? I am a Canadian citizen and would prefer to see more as I will not be able to visit again. I am not asking for ticket refund. Thank you!

Zenaida, if you plan to stay around 20 days in PRC before you fly back to Vancouver, then you should use your air ticket back to Vancouver and hotel reservation to apply for a L type. Of course, you should provide your passport, completed 2013 application form affixed with a recent passport photo.
