About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hi I fly from USA to vietnam via Guangzhou

Hi I fly from USA to vietnam via Guangzhou, spend 1 day in Guangzhou, then I take a train to HongKong for 1 day, back to Guangzhou for 1 more day, then fly to vietnam, do I qualify for the 72 hour free transit?

Kevin, you do not qualify for the 72-hour free transit but the transit permit is not needed for both times because you can make use of the 24-hour free transit policy.
