Family visiting China

Goodmorning,
I just arrived in Shanghai from Amsterdam (Holland) and will be working and living here for at least the next 2 years. My employer provided me with all the necessary visa and helped me with obtaining them.

I do have a question: My family will be visiting me this October, they are wih four persons (father, mother, brother, sister) I already read about an invitation letter I need to prepare, is there anything else I need to arrange for them to come over?

Jasper, if they just come for a short visit as tourists, an invitation letter from you is enough. If they want to stay longer with you, they should apply for the S type. In this case, apart from the invitation letter, you need to send them a photocopy of your passport as well as your temporary residence permit.

Thank you for your answer Jade. They will visit us as tourists for 7 days. So just to summarize this: I only need to write an official invitation letter which my parents will use in Holland to request their visa? currently I am still in the proces of obtaining my working permit and I will receive this on Augsut 31st will this be any problem?
