About:Marriage Registration in China

Hi I am a British citizen from UK I want to marry my Chinese girlfriend in china.

we have been together long time and we both have all the documents together but do I need a one way plane ticket to PRC or a return ticket in case if we can't get married please help thanks.

Robert, you mean you want to go to China to get married with your girlfriend? So you can apply for an L type or S2 type (more difficult to get). To apply for either type, you don't need to show the round-trip tickets. An invitation letter from your girlfriend and a photocopy of her ID card will work. The spouse residence permit is available only after you get married.
