About:Tiger Leaping Gorge (Hutiao Gorge)

Planning to arrange a family trip from LiJiang to Tiger Leaping Gorge to Shangrila.

Kindly advise how we can arrange public transport for 8 people? and How long and expenses jouney takes? is the TLG to pay any fee?

Take a long-distance from LJ Bus Station to Hutiaoxia Town in 2.5-3 hours first. The bus fare is around CNY45 per person. After arriving, hire a van to the gorge for fun at a cost of around CNY200-250.

Thank you for your replyed.. Is it posibble if the is a bus from the gorge to shangrila? If so how much the cost.. Lets say if we want to do from shangri la to the gorge how the areangment and xorse?

Yes, at the Hutiaoxia Town, you can easily take a bus to Shangri-la. They are mostly passing buses, so you'd better go and wait early in case that all seats are taken. It takes around 3h and the fare is CNY20 or around.
