What is the minimum residency validity required in the country of residence to apply for china visa?

I have an indian passport with 8 yrs validity living and working in kuwait on a work permit visa since 2 yrs. I am visiting china for 9 days in october 2015. My residence validity in kuwait expires on 26ht jan 2016.

Santosh, usually the applicants who apply in the third country must provide their legal stay proof, such as the residence permit. It should be valid at least six months.
