Do I need visa to get out of Pudong airport for a few hours to do sightseeing in downtown Shanghai?

Karuna, if your stay less than 24 hours, you are qualified for 24 hours free transit. If you plan to exit the airport for sight-seeing, then you need to apply for the stay permit at the immigration when you arrive. It's a stamp on your passport.0
