About:Embassy & Consulates of Philippines in China

Washed passport

Hi.my husband accidentally washed his passport. he is a seaman and right now theyre in china. how can he get a new passport? What are the requirements needed? how long will it takes to get a new passport?

Mitch, it takes at least 8 weeks to issue a new one. He should go to Chinese embassy in Beijing to apply. If he can't wait for so long, he might apply for a special travel document to get back. Please call the embassy for help!

Thank u.the travel documents that will be issue is only for him to go back to the philippines or he could still travel to other country using the travel documents?
