About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Airline employee working and spouse wished to travel with me

Hello, I am an employee with a Middle East airline (Canadian passport with UAE residence) and will travel from the UAE to Beijing, stop for 24 hours, then fly to Nagoya, stop for 24 hours, then reverse the process to Beijing, stop for 24 hours and fly back to the UAE. My wife would like to travel with me as a passenger. She also is a Canadian with a UAE visa. Will she be able to get a 72 hour free transit on arrival in Beijing? She has a confirmed ticket to Nagoya and to the UAE. What do you suggest? Thanks. John

Hi, as your layover time in Beijing is within 24 hour, both you and your wife are able to get a 24 hour direct transit on arrival in Beijing twice. No visa is required then. Nice trip!
