About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

UK passport holder wanting to visit Beijing on the 72 hour visa

Bangkok to Beijing on a direct flight then Beijing to Kuala Lumpur on direct flight, will leave within the 72 hours but separate tickets with different airlines, is that OK?

Yes. But keep all the boarding cards with you because some times chinese play more bureacraric than other countries!
