About:Beijing Transportation Smart Card

Is it possible to buy and receive metro card in advance of arriving in Beijing? I live in London.

I'm afraid you cannot get one in avance online. Don't worry! It is very easy to get one on the spot. Many service centers sell the card. If landing at PEK, at the Ticketing Counter/Window of the Airport Express at T2 and T3, you can easily get a metro card (Public Transportation Smart Card).
