About:Chinese Consulate in Vancouver

following advice from Doreen/Rachel. it was the 10 year Chinese Visa I went to apply for.

Hi
Thanks for the reply. I type the wrong words. Basically the important goal now is to be able to go from the Shanghai port to the Shanghai Airport....perhaps in the same day if we can not find a suitable extension tour to Tibet. We thought it would be advantages to get a 10 year Chinese entry permit with multiple entry since we want to get one to last the duration of our passport. We enjoy China Excursions and this would make it easier/more economical the next time around.

Does your advise of getting an L type still stand? Is there any way I can still go with what I wish to get 10 year entry permit (or entry permit for the duration of our Passport) now? I may see an excursion to China in a months time that I can't pass up and then I will be ready to go.

Sue, if you really want to get the ten-year multiple entry permit, I would suggest you keep an eye on the excursions and book one as soos as possible so that you could provide return ticket and travel itinerary for this trip, whick would help you to get the ten-year multiple entries. As long as you can get it, you don't need to apply again when you visit China by cruise ship in the next year.
