I just know international buses are available from Gilgit to Kashgar and the frequency is every other day. For the exact bus schedule, it is better to have further consultation.

The wall covers a large area. Which section do you wish to see? Personally, the closest one shall be Jiayuguan. You can take a train from Kashgar to Urumqi for a transfer and change to another train to Jiayuguan.

Reminder: the travel by land is possible, but it takes a long time and the journey may be suffering. Airplane is highly recommended.
