It's a civilized city. Many people there are born hot temple, but they are kind-hearted too. So when someone talks to you quite loudly, just be calm. It's their way of lives. In addition, there are several international schools for you to choose. They have warm-hearted and responsible teachers.

Just be easy, it is quite safe in that city and crime is not a problem.
About the price, a small bag of bread usually costs CNY3 and a large bag costs CNY10 or more, depending on the quality; a bag of pure milk( about 250ml) is around CNY3; about the fruit price, it varies a lot as there are so many kinds, for instance, the apples cost about CNY10/kg last year.
