About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Plan to book a flight to beijing with plane change in Shanghai. Does it quality 72 hours transit?

I don't leave the airport and then leave beijing to fly to Thailand

Pauline, if the plane stops in more than one Chinese cities, you cannot make use of the 72-hour free transit. If you want to use it, you should book a flight direct to Beijing.
