About:China Visa on Arrival

Travel to China mainland using visa on arrival from Hongkong

Hi I am Indonesian passport holder, at the moment i am in Shanghai, i have 30 days single entry one.My question is can i fly to Hongkong to get a new VOA and back again the same day entry Shanghai using that visa on arrival from Hongkong? Would be appriciate for your answer...thanks!

Hi Nina, it's not allowed. HK entry permit cannot be used to enter mainland. If you want to reenter, you have to apply for a regular mainland entry permit.

Thanks for ur replay, i heard tourist is possible to extended for another 30 days...thought i am going try to do that :)
