About:Forbidden City

How do I purchase entrance tickets into the Forbidden City?

Hi,

I am trying to buy 6 entry tickets into the palace for September. I have tried many times to register my details so that I can eventually buy tickets. It won't accept my phone number and says it is 'malformed'. I was wondering of you could please help me to buy the tickets, register to buy tickets OR point me in the right direction to buy the tickets.

The palace now only recieve 80,000 tourists everyday, the tickets may be sold out fast, so it is necessary to resverve in advance on its official website. Well, now you have trouble to make online reservation, I suggest you to buy the tickets upon arrival at the entrance, but you need to get there earlier so that you do not need to wait in a long queue.

I know Chinese mobile phone numbers are 11 digits and usually start with 13 and 15. Of course the registration system shows malformed if you input an international number. Unless you have a Chinese phone number, or you can only buy on the spot or ask a travel agency for help.
