X1 visa number of entries

Hi! I have an x1(residence permit application required) but only given a single entry. What if I want to go home and take some vacation? Do i have to apply again?

I read in one article that residence permit can act as a multiple entry one? How does it work?

Hi, it's true that the residence permit can act as a multiple-entry permit. So you don't need to apply again if you want to exit and renter China. When you enter the border, you can just show this residence card and your passport. It's fine.
