Limitations on HK airport shuttle bus?

Hi, Am i allowed to board the shuttle bus designated to send me to that particular hotel despite my actual hotel being across the street?

So your hotel is not on the list of the destination of the free shuttle buses? If not, you of course cannot ask the driver to drop you off right in front of your hotel. Just get off at a closeby hotel and walk there.
