Xi'an city bus tickets

Hi, does anyone know if both RMB1/RMB2 coins and RMB1/RMB2 banknotes can be used to pay for tickets?? Or are only coins accepted? Do you also know if in Chengdu it is the same? Thanks.

Oh, most city buses in this city accept RMB1/RMB2 coins and banknotes both. So don't worry.
In addition, the situation in Chengdu is the same. :-)
