Do i have to change my Analogue (hand written) Passport to MRP?

I am a PhD student. I have come to China in 2012. I will be graduate in June/July 2016. I have read a news in our country newspapers that validity of hand written passport will expire in 24 Nov. 2015.The validity of my hand writing passport is 19 Nov. 2016. I have visa in my hand writting Passport until my graduation (15 August 2016).I will not go to my country before my graduation (June/July 2016).I am living now in Hunan, Changsha.You know, as a student, it is hard to spend money related to change the passport right now.So, could you tell me whether to change my analogue passport to MRP? or, Could i use my analogue passport to exit China in June/July 2016?

Zaman, i think you need to confirm this with your embassy in China and local entry and exit management bureau in Changsha. The bureau is located at no. 112, Bayi Road.
