Travel to Huangshan from Shanghai or Beijing

What is the most economical/easy way to travel to the mountain from either Beijing or Shanghai?

I've seen High-Speed railway trains from Beijing for ~90USD, however they arrive in huangshanbei. Is this close to downtown/ mountain? Are there other options via Bus?

I want to strike the right balance between the most cost effective and easiest form of travel.

From Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station, there is a bullet train leaving at 08:27. The duration is about 5 hours, and the fare is CNY304 for the second class seat, CNY505.5 for the first class seat and CNY948.5 for the business seat.
In Beijing South Railway Station, there are also bullet trains available. The duration is about 5.5 hours, and the fare is CNY548.5 for the second class seat, CNY924 for the first class seat and CNY1732.5 for the business seat.
You will arrive at Huangshan North Railway Station. In the train station, there are direct tourist buses going to the entrance of the scenic area. The bus ride is about CNY20, and the travel time is about 50 – 60 mins. If taking a taxi, the fare would be CNY200 around.
