can i apply for s1 visa?

Question

My minor children are going to study elementary school in China. What type should I apply for to accompany them while they are studying? I would like to know how can I do to stay with them while they are studying.Thanks for any advice in advance!

Hi MS. Tina, you should apply for the S1 type. After you enter China, you need to change the S1 into a residence permit and your children need to change the X1 into residence permits too so that you can stay long within China.You can apply for the S1 type at the same time when you children apply for the X1.
