Trip to Beijing and Hengdian

How can I travel from Beijing to Hengdian? I will be in China for 12 days and I would like to visit Beijing and Hengdian. Where else should I go? Is bus definitely cheaper than train? And which hotel in Hengdian would you recommend? I would like to know of shopping areas in these cities too. Thanks!

You can take flight from Beijing to Yiwu, then go to Jiangdong Bus Terminal for bus to Hengdian. The bus runs every half an hour and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Alternatively, you may take flight or high-speed train to Hangzhou, and head to Hengdian by bus upon arrival. Besides Beijing and Hengdian, you may also consider visiting Xian, Shanghai and its surrounding area. There are many hotels and guesthouses in Hengdian village, you can search online and choose the one you prefer.
