What if I've never gotten a China entry permit before?
I'm traveling with friends. They have their entry permits, and I don't, and we've already bought our tickets and hotels in China.

Joe, you still have a chance to get it even though you didn't enter mainland China before.

Nelly,
Should I go to the Luohu border to try? Everyone else told me it isn't possible. How do you know I can? I'll really appreciate your help explaining.

Joe, I think it's worth a try. But if you think it's too risky, you can apply a mainland entry permit in advance.
