New Zealand passport re free visa for 75 hours

We are holidaying in China in October for 9 days and then a week in Vietnam leaving from Shanghai and returning to Shanghai for two nights before flying back to NZ. Do we need a muli entery permit or does the free 72 hour transit cover this. We do not leave Shanghai it is really just a stopover.

Hi David, you only need a single entry. On your way back, you can use the 72-hour free transit policy.
