About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

i have a F visa for 6 months with dual entry each valid for 90 days.

after arriving am i eligible to stay in a rented apartment and get a temporary residence permit? for my stay cos cant afford to stay in hotel for all 6 months? pls someone clarify.. thanks

Santhosh, you can stay in a rented apartment, but you don't need to get a temporary residence permit. It's only used by those who need to stay for longer than 180 days.
