About:Transfer in T3 of Beijing Capital Airport

connection time information at Capital airport

hi there!!

i have flights with air china from montreal to pekin CA880
connection time 1:45
and from pekin to Bangkok CA979

do i need to collect my luggages? is it in the same terminal? is 1:45 possible?

It's the same terminal. You will arrive at T3 and also depart from T3.
1 hours and 45 minutes should be enough for transfer. But do not waste time and hurry up.
And it's not necessary for you to recollect your luggages.
The correct transfer procedures are the following.
1. Transfer Procedures
2. Border Inspection
3. Security Check
4. Custom Inspection
5. Waiting & Boarding

On the way back i have the same flights ; bangkok to pekin
Connection time 1:30
And pekin to montreal
Is my first flight often late? Because i cannot miss my second

May I know if the two flights are operated by the same airline? If so, no need to worry at all. Once the former one is late, the airline will arrange another for you. But if not, 1.5h is quite tight for the transfer. Anyway, the flight usually don't get late. You can also consult the airline in advance for details.
