S1 visa for my son?

Hi! I already have working residence permit in China. I'm planning to apply for S1 for my son. He's one year old.
What does it mean: "Original and a photocopy of certification such as a marriage certificate, birth certificate, certification of kinship issued by the Public Security Bureau (or notarized certification of kinship) showing their immediate family relationship." And where can we do it? In PRC? or in my country? Kazakhstan? and do I need a permission from my husband to enter with my son? Thank you!

Alicia, to be short, your son needs to submit his birth certificate and invitation letter from you to apply for S1 type. Of course, copies of your passport and resident permit are required. Also his birth certificate should be authenticated by Chinese embassy in your country. Authenticated version is required when changing S1 into a resident permit.

Yes, a consent letter from your husband that he agrees to allow your son to go to PRC is required.

Yes, you need to provide a consent letter and the letter doesn't need to be notarized. You also need to submit a photocopy of your husband's passport.
