places of interest in hunan

Question

I am visiting Hunan in September and will be staying around Xueshi Road area in Yuelu.  Would appreciate if you could recommend places of interest to visit and the distance of travelling so that I can arrange my itinerary accordingly.  Would also appreciate if you could recommend any nice eating outlets nearby.  Thanks

Mountain Yuelu and Mountain Shaoshan are must sees in this area. Mt.Yuelu is about 7 miles away from your starting place. And the distance between the hotel and Mt. Shaoshan is about 34 miles. Nearby these two scenic areas, there are many local farms for you to choose. Most of them have nice and characteristic dishes. After touring around, you can easily find one.Have a good journey!
