Is 1 hour 40 min enough to transfer from international to domestic flight at T3, Beijing?

I will arrive at T3, Beijing Airport on 4 Aug 2015 at 4:20pm on CA976. I need to catch a domestic flight, CA1117, departing at 6:00pm for Hailar. I've only 1 hour and 40min if my arrival is not delayed. Will clearing the custom, qurantine, inspection, claiming baggage etc be so slow that I might likely miss my domestic flight?
Thanks!

No, it is not enough. Usually they stop boarding about 30min to 45min in advance. The time is too limited.

Thanks Lauren for responding. But I will already have the boarding pass for the domestic flight issued at Changi Airport (Singapore) where I board my international flight to Beijing. I also will be depositing my baggage, after claiming it, to a nearby transfer service at Level 2 before proceeding to Level 3 to board my domestic flight. Would this not help speed up the transfer? Both my international and domestic flights are assigned by Air China, so I thought they should allow enough time for passengers to make the transfer, right?

If they are all Air Chian, you can try to ask if they can transfer your luggage direct to the next trip. The good new is that the 2 trips are both in T3. You have to be very fast for the process, good luck!

Thanks Mathew for the encouraging advice. Air China has "Through Check-in" service for baggage to be delivered direct to the final destination even for International to Domestic transfer. Unfortunately, my reading of its website suggests that it is available to only a few countries and Singapore is not one of them.
My main concern is the slow custom check and various inspections which I understand are usually very crowded. What was your experiences? Cheers!

This process can be 30 to 40min sometimes, thus you did have very limited time for the next trip. Hope you a good luck for the connection process!

Thanks again Matthew! That's my fear. Unfortunately, Air China seems to hold the view that so long as I've at least 1 hour and 30mins from the time the international flight touches down T3, they would not be responsible if I miss the domestic flight due to slow clearing of custom, baggage claim etc. I really need all the lucks for this connecting flight. Cheers!
