About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do I have to arrive and leave on the same airline to qualify for the 72-hour free transit?

Does it have to be a nonstop flight from USA-Shanghai? If my flight is USA-change planes in Taiwan-Shanghai, does that qualify?

Hey, you don't have to arrive and leave on the same airline. In addition, it doesn't need to be a nonstop flight from your departure place to Shanghai. The plan can stop over in Taiwan.
