Can I transfer from international to domestic flight in just 1 hour and 40 minutes at PEK?

I will arrive at Beijing Airport T3 on CA976 on 4 Aug 2015 at 1620 hours and need to transfer to a domestic flight CA1117 for Hailar departing at 1800 hours. There is only 1 hour 40 minutes for my group of five to clear immigration and inspection, claim baggage and then check in for domestic flight (which closes at 1730 hours). Please advise whether I will be able to make the transfer within the short time.

Will the domestic check-in counter and domestic flight wait for us?

I understand the crowd is always heavy at custom and inspection. How long do we expect to take to clear all the custom and various inspections?

Am I likely to miss the domestic flight with just 1 hour and 40 minutes available for transfer (and this assumes my international flight arrival is not delayed)?
