Jenny, you can do this. However, according to what I know, those who UK permanent green card should stay in UK for a certain period. If they can't stay, then their green card might be cancelled.

Unfortuate, baby born in the UK does not have autoclaim of British Citizen unless when the child was born, either parent is British or have settlement status (ILR). We do not have green card in the UK and my best advice is you need to call the Home Office in the UK in regarding of you situation.

Home office advise line on nationality is 0300 123 2253.

Oops forget to conclude the answer. If either parent is British Citizen or have settlement status before the child was born, the child could apply for a certificate of entitlement (ROA) on his Chinese or korean passport. Otherwise you need to apply a dependent visa in his Chinese or Korean passport. If you did not do that, child will breach UK immigration (overstay)!!
