About:Nan Ao Island

We are catching either the morning or afternoon train from Guangzhou to Shantou.

We want to stay on Nanao island that night. Just wondering where we can find up to date ferry times from Shantou to Nanao. What time is the last ferry? Would tickets sell out in advance, or can we/do we have to pre-book?

The ferries from Laiwu Dock to the island are scheduled at 08:00, 10:00, 12:00, 14:00, 16:00 and 18:00. So the last one leaves at 18:00. It is no need to book in advance. Generally, it si easy to get a ticket on the spot.
