I'm looking for natural places to explore around Zhangye and I read about the Desert Park.

Could anyone tell me if it's worth going there in late October and if it's doable in half a day, since I'll be heading to the Danxia landform park in the afternoon. Does public transport go there? Could you tell me from where/travel time/cost? Thank you in advance!
