About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Could I fly from Singapore, spend 72 hours and then go to Bangkok?

Hi, I've read your text, thanks for all the information.
I am afraid that I might have missunderstood. However, this period is not gonna be exactly a "transit time".

Julie, what is your nationality? Which places would you visit during 72 hours?

Julie, if you stay less than 72 hours in Shanghai, then you can make use of this policy to avoid applying Chinese entry permit. However, you have to provide onward air ticket to Bangkok and valid visa or entry permit to Thailand (if required).
