U.S. citizen residing in Singapore. Am I eligible for the 72 hour free transit?

I'm a U.S. citizen residing in Singapore. I would like to fly from Singapore to Beijing and spend 72 hours there.

Hey, what is your next destination? If it's not Singapore or part of mainland China, then you are eligible fo this free transit.
