Canadian Passport Holder 5 Day Travel Visa

Im travelling to China for 5 days in September and im travelling on a Canadian Passport. I live in Auckland and can't go all the way to Wellington to apply for a visitor type. Where can i apply? Can i apply at the Auckland office? If so then what times-days are you open? I travel to Beijing via Hong Kong on the 17 September 2015.
Thank you, very much. Please send me the information
