Hi, we have out return flight from guangxhou to india . We would like to visit Macau for a day and board our flight from guangxhou

Dev, you are not required for any entry permit for one-day tour to Macau. If you just transit in Guangzhou less than 24 hours and then fly back to India, then I think you can make use of 24 hours free transit so that you needn't apply any type.
