United States Passport less than 6 month on exit from China

My United States Passport expires on February 15 2016. I will enter China on 8/10/2015 and exit China on 8/25/2015. Will I have a problem since my passport for exit is less than 6 month. Thanks.

I don't think you'll meet problems. The immigration office does not require six-month validity of passport for foreigners entering China.

Wondering about the response by Hilary. Do you know for sure? Have you been in the same situation? If applying for visa, most countries require validity of at least 6 months from the exit date from the visiting country.

OK, as far as I know, the six-month remaining validity is only required when applying for the visa. It's not required for entering PRC. Just for you reference.
