Baggage limits for the ferry from Shenzhen to HKIA?

Hi there, I will be meeting a friend in SZ(we arrive at different train stations) and need to meet up, and go to the port where we can take the ferry to HKIA. My bags will include two checked items (30kg total) and one cabin size case at 7kg. We will fly with Philippine Airlines to MNL later in the same day. Will it be possible to travel with these on the ferry without incurring extra charges?

As for your case, it is ok to check in at Shekou Port. Why you bother to carry it and then check in at HKIA? You can check in your 30kg luggage for free at Shekou Port and just carry your 7kg handbags onto the ferry. No extra fee is needed.

Thank you for your advice. I thought that the checking in of luggage could only be for certain airlines, and didn't see Philippine Airlines listed there. I'm pleased to know I can take my full luggage on this ferry without excess weight charges, thank you.
