About:Chinese Consulates in South Korea

transit visa in china for filipinos from korea

Hi! I am a Filipino working in South Korea with an E7 type. I want to go to SIngapore but I have to have a layover in Tsingdao or Shanghai. Do I need a transit type? If so, how do I get this?I can't find any information on the internet regarding my situation. I hope you can help me. Thank you!!

Cathy, there are two probable cases.

1. If the transit time is not beyond 24 hours, you can enjoy the 24-hour direct transit policy and the transit entry permit is not required.

2. If the transit time is more than 24 hours, you need to get a transit G type from the CVASC in South Korea. Your passport, passport copy, application form, recent photo against light background, ARC card, and flight tickets will be needed for the application.
